Yesterday was the first time I ever went to the Bristol Renaissance Faire. Heck, it was the first time I ever made it yoga Ren Faire. It is so up my alley!
So, I dressed as one of characters, Kathryn. She is a female warrior (and I only had a week to come up with something without spending money).

I was a companion of The Doctor!

fez's are cool."

And of course, we made sure to see Queen Elizabeth the 1st.

We also saw the Prince of France trying to woo the Queen.

And of course, being the warrior I am, we took in some swordplay.

Then again, things are never boring with The Doctor. We stumbled upon his Eleventh regeneration and Amy.

All in all it was a ling and awesome day, and next time my actual camera will be working! I am planning on going again. At the end of July is a Fantasy costume contest (like science fiction... ahem!), so who wants to go with this summer?
